Susquehanna Folk Music Society - Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 pm, live from my living room to yours!
I am having so much fun preparing for this concert. The only repeat from my December concert is... my banjo tune Susquehanna, of course. Spring is already in the air, and I am resurrecting some of my, and hopefully your, favorites songs and poems from all of my 8 solo albums. These are songs I haven't sung in years, but still love, and I'm finding great pleasure in singing them again - it's like meeting up with good friends after a long hiatus. Co-hosted by River Spirit Music/Musae, whose tech team will handle everything remotely. The concert will be shown in both HD and 360 degrees - I'm saving you a front row seat! House concerts have become a staple for many acoustic performers and are a great way to hear music up close and intimate, as well as being an ideal event to nurture community. The New York Times has called them a major cultural phenomenon. Most any house will work, and no sound system is needed.
